呢篇日誌不得不用中文寫。

葉卓敏，本人之中學同窗，多年之好友，精通英語，曾當亞視英文台記者，曾被（本人）認為有中文讀寫困難，於中學中文會話練習堂時說了一篇「海的聯想」而令全場爆笑。

今天的葉小姐，被稱為「中國書畫部專家」及於傳媒前介紹張大千的作品。

<DOULOS - A visit to Hong Kong>

DOULOS is the world's oldest ocean going passenger ship and will retire in 2010. It reached Hong Kong in mid September this year and is now berthing at Ocean Terminal for public visit. It is the 8^th and the last visit of the DOULOS to Hong Kong. My fellowship arranged a visit to DOULOS on 4 October; it was our first and also the last time to join the book fair and other onboard activities on it. According to the helpers of the OM, there are about 300 crew members from different nations on the ship. They participate in various community activities and services when visiting different countries; aim at bringing knowledge, help and hope.

<Sore Throat>

I've got a sore throat for three days. Oh...
Finally, I went to see Dr. Lai this morning.

Mom has made me a pot of congee with dried scallop, ground hairy, adlay and sliced meat.
It's delicious and full of love. Really thanks with two rows of eye drops.

Also thanks God for giving me such a great mom.

<My lovely chinchilla>

I adopted my chin, named 'Meow Meow', last summer. Due to the negligence and improper care of her pervious owner, Meow Meow eventually built up some bad eating habits. She did not like to chew much and only ate pellets instead of hay. Also, she was really a stubborn chin and was reluctant in changing her diet and refused to eat any kinds of hay I gave her. (I have brought different kinds and different tastes of hay in order to attract her.) As chinchillas are herbivorous rodents with constantly-growing incisors and molars, only grinding and chewing of course hay could keep their teeth worn down and prevent dental disease. Therefore, the bad dietary habit of Meow Meow resulted in severe dental disease, i.e. molar spurs.

Yesterday, I brought Meow Meow to visit Dr. Yen, a veterinarian in Kowloon Veterinary Hospital, AGAIN due to her overgrown of molars. The dental treatment involved general anesthesia and cutting off the affected teeth. Actually, such dental treatment was only considered as a temporary solution unless changes in my chin's eating habit were made. This problem will reoccur again and again in about three to six months.

Anyway, Meow Meow's pain caused by the molar spurs has be released as she did not slobber and tear any more. Glad to see that!
